8 gennaio 2022. Nella notte tra il 7 el'8 gennaio 2022, la Scala dei Turchi, scogliera nota a tutto il mondo e candidata a patrimonio dell'UNESCO, è stata imbrattata con una polvere rossa di ossido di ferro da vandali. L'identità dei vandali è sconosciuta e oggetto di indagini da parte della Procura della Republica Italiana.
8 January 2022. In the night between 7 and 8 January 2022, the Scala dei Turchi, a cliff known throughout the world and nominated for UNESCO heritage, was smeared with a red powder of iron oxide by vandals. The identity of the vandals is unknown and the subject of investigations by the Prosecutor of the Italian Republic.
